Ältere Versionen des Octopus haben einzelne Luftkammern, die über freie Öffnungen gefüllt werden.<br />

Diese Version ist im Inneren mit Schnüren verbunden, wodurch sich die Luft besser verteilen kann und der Octopus formstabiler wird. Der Lufteinlass ist mit Gazen verschlossen. Die Tentakeln können auf der Rückseite mit einem Reißverschluss geöffnet werden um Luft raus zu lassen. Zudem bietet diese Version eine Anhängemöglichkeit für einen [[Lifter]] oberhalb des Lufteinlasses. Mit einem Lifter fliegt der Octopus etwas früher und wesentlich stabieler. Der Stoff ist wesentlich leichter als bei älteren Versionen und die Waage ist einstellbar wodurch der Octopus wesentlich früher fliegt.<br />
